    Description

    Back in 1918, an elderly man with a mere foot scrappings to sell, stopped at the house of famed photographer Eric Enstrom in the tiny mining town of Bovey, MInnesota.  Enstrom invited him in and offered him something to eat.  The old man was so thankful, he bowed his head in a prayer of thanksgiving.  Enstrom took his picture and today the photo is famous throughout the world.
    After this happening, no one ever had contact again with the elderly man.  He is thought to have died somewhere in Missouri.
    This auction is for a rather rare Vintage Old Man Praying Grace picture, wood framed, by Eric Enstrom, Bovey, Minnesota measuring 14.5 x 18" (with frame).  The frame is solid wood and is in excellent condition.  The picture is in excellent condition.
    With the purchase, I am enclosing a photo of the actual home/photography studio of Eric Enstrom taken by my family on a trip to Bovey, Mn.
