Description
Presented for your consideration is this 12-piece lot of engraving tools fresh out of a watchmaker's tool chest that I recently acquired. These tools are for metal engraving; however, they could be repurposed as detailed carving chisels with some reshaping and sharpening. These tools are in used condition and certainly exhibit some wear, but there is still life left in them at a fraction of the price of new ones. There are 15 tools of various shapes and the makers represented include E. C. Lyons, Vautier, and Johnson. These would certainly find a welcome home with the hobbyist or would make a neat display of vintage jeweler's tools in a modern shop. More fine tools from Brother Rabbit's hutch!
