One gallon empty glass bottle with 2" flip-top
plastic pour cap.
Bottle measures about 18.5" tall with a 5.75" base.
Front & neck labels have slight damage. Some tape.
Label on back is intact.
Bottle is marked on the bottom 64 D - 1 67
4 - 1 Quart Texas State Liquor Tax stamps are affixed.
Bottles manufactured between 1932 - 1964 were
required by Federal Law to have the words:
"Federal Law Forbids Sale Or Reuse Of This Bottle"
I believe it is 1964 due to the 64 on the bottom.
National Distillers Group had facilities in Cincinnati, OH
and Frankfort, KY. This bottle is marked Frankfort.
In 1987, National Distillers Group sold the spirits business
to the Fortune Brands holding company, which became
Beam Inc.
No chips or cracks.
Storage dust and dirt.
Bottle fits into a metal Texas Oil Derrick pour dispenser
which makes it easier to handle this beast.
The oil derrick has a 9.5" x 14" solid wood base and
a 5/8" x 5.25" Grand-Dad metal name plate.
The bottle is held in place by a removable metal rod.
The bottle swings to pour.
