Vintage Antique Muskovie Bomb Weedless Mechanical Lure in Original Box-NIB-WOW~!

Here is a great little bait; an original Muskovie Bomb, a spring-loaded, lever-triggered, mechanical fishing lure. This example is as good as it gets; it comes from the family estate of it's creator. Never fished, it sat in a storage box in the rafters of the garage of the Wisconsin native who designed, and over saw its manufacturing in Chicago, Illinois after World War II. The 3 hooks are hidden in the body of the bait, and as a fish strikes the lure, the triggers are depressed, and the hooks spring out and snare the finned aggressor. The bait was "patent pending" (marked on both the box, and on the inner lip of the bait), and they sold for $ 1.95 a piece. The box is very clean, strong, and original to the bait. There is no rust or corrosion on any of the metal workings of the lure, and the hooks still snap out with authority. This bait is original, and very distinctive.
