Description

Up for auction is a John Matthews circa 1850's one gallon jug with the words "Fine Sirups & Extracts" embossed on the top as well as "1st Ave. 26th & 27th Streets. New York". The jug is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks.  Any imperfections are from manufacturing such as glaze drips or a small dent filled with glaze. Applied Handle. 12 5/8" H 6" diameter at bottom.  Comes with a new cork.
