Small Antique W.H. Saxton Sterling Silver Floral Repousse Round Container/Box NR

Description

An estate found, late nineteenth - early twentieth century small round trinket box container with an allover floral Repousse design on the body and the lid. Offered with no reserve and a low opening bid. Container measures 1-5/8" high x 1.5" in diameter and weighs 45.8 grams. Marked on the bottom WH SAXTON / STERLING along with an ornate Victorian monogram in a fancy cursive script. (WH Saxton may have been the manufacturer or the retailer). The patina of the silver is shiny as it's recently been hand polished. Only light wear on the base, the lid fits snugly and comes on and off properly.
