Description

This is a very pretty white and blue thimble.
It features a picture of the Erland Lee Home which is now a Museum on the front.
On the back are the words "Erland Lee (Museum) Home.
The Museum is the birthplace of the women's institute.
In 1972, the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario purchased the home as they wanted to preserve the vintage home as a memorial to the birthplace of the women's institutes, and feature the vanished, middle-class, rural Victorian lifestyle.
The thimble measures 3/4" in diameter x 1" high.
It is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition.
On the inside it is stamped "ROYAL GEORGINA", "FINE BONE CHINA", "MADE IN CANADA" and "DS"
