    Ezio Anichini
Queen of All Saints is a title of Mary from the Litany of Loreto, a medieval practice with over 50 titles of Mary with which the faithful call to her and praise her. Italian artist Ezio Anichini released illustrations of 46 of these titles in 1912. His work is Art Noveau in style, precise yet romantic, and emotionally engaging. He made them available in postcards, and someone, unknown to history, took 12 or 13 of them and rendered them into the exquisite needlework known as the Loreto Embroideries. They are now held by the Royal School of Needlework in London, regarded as masterpieces of beauty, design, and execution.
In this one, Mary reigns in her heavenly court, attended to by angels, with St. George and St. Cecelia at the foot of her throne.
We spent a lot of time restoring this image, removing the flaws from the photograph and lightening it a bit to bring out the richness and contrast of the colors and the precision of the needlework.
