The 1966 BATMAN

TV Series aired for three seasons from January 12, 1966 to March 14, 1968. Adam West starred as Bruce Wayne/BATMAN. On this coin he can be seen doing the Batusi, BATMAN’s go-go dance that was first screened in the first episode of the TV series.
During its first season, it was one of only two prime-time TV series to be broadcast twice in one week, with the first episode always containing a cliffhanger ending and the voice over: "Tune in tomorrow—same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!". The cheery campiness of this live action situation comedy was an unexpected success and for many viewers became their first exposure to the CAPED CRUSADER
