    Brand NEW Frame

    Certificate of Authenticity
. Sericel size is 11 x 14 inches, with the outside Refurbished Disney Frame size being 21 x 18 inches.
    BONUS:
Disney created this piece without a background.
The edition was simply matted over a white-matt for display. Toon-city thought that was boring, so we ordered the toon-city Dept. of Background to create a ideal waterway for our gang of explores to paddle through. It is presented her as a GIFT to the buyer.
Image features Mickey, Goofy and Donald Duck as they appeared in the mid 1940's. The image is taken out of the 1940's Walt Disney Short "Mickey and the Beanstalk" in which the boys do some whitewater river rafting. NICE. Sericel is in mint condition as it has been displayed in the original Disney frame for many years. The frame itself is in Good condition as our professional framer has giving it a good cleaning. So the piece is ready to hang.
    BONUS:
In addition it has been signed by 2 of the main character animators on the film.
    Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston
have both passed away, so this piece is even more of a treasure.

    What is a sericel?
    A Sericel
is a serigraphy process that involves silk-screening each individual color to the cel, one at a time. Every distinct shade is a separate screen, and a separate pass in the procedure. As a result of this fine art operation, each color is flawlessly reproduced. Sericels are also created in limited quantities, typically 2500 to 5000 pieces and sometimes even 9500. Because of their larger edition size, sericels are the most affordable type of animation art, ideal for the beginning collector. The word Sericel is a contraction of Seri-graphed Cel.
