    Description

    Please email with any questions. Group of three antique Victorian valentines. 7 1/2" by 5" card decorated with embossed diecut scraps on a Dresden type paper lace of metallic silver. This layer should be 3D but the paper brackets behind have gotten bent- behind the front layer is a chromo of a pretty woman. Inside is a flowery, poetic message. Some slight foxing on the interior. 5 1/2" square flat with easel on the back. Two pieces of pale blue embossed paper lace can be opened to reveal a chromo image and message. Some slight wear to edges. 5" by 3 1/2" folding card with a little chromo "Romeo" in the center of the embossed front, inside is a loving message with illustration. These are from the late 1800's and although they were manufactured, the embellishments were all done by hand.
