Lot 12 Valentine's Day Cards 1930s Diecut Foldover Mechanical Craft Junk Journal.
Lot of 12 Vintage Valentine Greeting Cards from the 1930s in a variety of designs. The lot includes diecut, foldover, mechanical, and single fold cards. All of the cards are signed on the inside or the back. The largest card is 6" wide by 5-1/4" tall. The cards were all made in the U.S. The girl in a cart mechanical card has three different horse faces that can rotate around to the front. The boy in the boat mechanical card raises and lowers his hat as a small heart comes up behind him.
The cards have wear consistent with age. There are some pencil marks and smudges, some small stains, wear to edges and corners, and creases. The cards have all tanned with age. The faceless boy with a daisy is missing the mechanical portion of the card which included his face. The boy in the boat card has damage to the boy's left arm where it comes into contact with his neckerchief. Please see pictures. The cards will ship to you from a smoke free, dog-friendly home.
