This fabulous heavy 8# quality made piece stands approx. 10 3/4" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter across the top and bottom - It has a metal spigot, a metal bail on the top and a metal cap cork in the hole which can be removed for adding liquid - It has painted advertising on both the front and the back - It has some paint missing on both the front and the back but between the two of them I am able to read:
"SELECTED BY -----"
and
CINTRA RUBY PORT"
and
"PRODUCT OF PORTUGAL"
- Stamped on the bottom of the piece is the manufacturer of the piece which reads:
"MADE IN ENGLAND BY MOIRA POTTERY CO. LTD."
- It is in excellent overall used condition with no chips, cracks or repairs to the pottery - It
does not
leak around the metal spigot - The spigot opens and closes easily and dispenses liquid properly - The
spigot
has a small chip which does not affect its functioning
