    Description

This vintage coffee pot-shaped jug once held Crème de Café - a cordial brought to the US by Belgian-born Jules LeRoux in 1933. Setting up business in Philadelphia, he profited from the ending of Prohibition, starting the successful production of LeRoux liqueurs.
This highly glazed rich brown pitcher is unmarked but its round Bakelite top stopper with cork is marked “LeRoux Liqueurs”. The smaller stopper at the spout is missing however there is a trace of the old cork still intact.
The piece is 6-1/4" high and has a base diameter of 4-1/2".
It has no chips or cracks
