Late 1926 Victor Granada Orthophonic Console Phonograph

Up for auction is a late 1926 Victor Granada Orthophonic console phonograph serial #58890. Unit measures 34" wide, 27" deep and 34" tall. Weight is about 110 pounds. This unit features the ball-bearing style tone arm rather than the overhanging bracket style. The motor has been serviced and the reproducer has been restored. It has the small re-entrant speaker (folded horn) for superior tone quality. Finish is in very good condition with a few tiny nicks on the top. The original grill cloth is in excellent condition.  A small selection of needles comes with the unit. I purchased this item from the grand daughter of the original owner so it has been sheltered most of it's life. This phonograph produces excellent sound over the entire frequency range.
