Vintage 1948 Hallmark Valentine’s Day Card
Oversized with Stand
Adorable vintage kitten with ball of yarn Hallmark Valentine’s Day card with stand, 1948. Card is in overall very good condition, measures approximately 8.75” x 7”, and is inscribed on the back, along with a subsequent price marked in pencil. Yarn is flocked, with most of the flocking still soft and intact, although there is minor loss. Valentine cutout is pinned and still swings. Card has little color loss, and edges are pretty sharp, but does have some creases (please see pictures). Printed on back:  “A Hallmark Card”, “copyright 1948 Hall Brothers, Inc.”, and "25 V549-4". This card was purchased from an antique store in San Francisco 40 years ago and has been carefully stored (we don’t know who Mary or her mother are, unfortunately.) A lovely addition a cat or vintage greeting card collection.
