Made in Italy, this is high-end prosumer machine is in need of repair and is perfect for any handy espresso enthusiast or home barista with some technical/mechanical abilities who likes to "get under the hood" and tinker.
It is a Dual Boiler, Vibratory Pump machine with Programmable Volumetric Dosing and adjustable group temp. It is a reservoir only machine (cannot be plumbed in)
I am the original owner. I purchased it from Chris Coffee in NY and I have owned it for about 11/12 years. I only used it once per day to make my morning cappuccino. I have been very careful to back flush w/water everyday, then about once/twice per month back flush w/Cafiza, and soak and clean all accessories. It has been serviced two or three times over the years, and had some parts replaced (the vibratory pump and some other parts I can’t recall.)
The machine comes with all its original parts: including both single and double 53mm portafilters, 15 Amp adapter (machine is easily set at either 15 or 20 Amp, currently set at 15), wrench for removing shower screens, color manuals.
There is NO physical damage, no cracks, dents or broken parts, no missing parts, just scratches on the chrome/stainless steel. Some obvious age wear inside the drip tray o/w chrome grate is excellent.
I am also throwing in many additional accessories worth at least 0 for free: including a bottomless portafilter w/IMS Precision filter basket, 4 brand new IMS Precision shower screen sets (2 w/original boxes), a brand new unopened 4-hole steam wand set, a nearly new brass group-head diffuser plate (original also included), a Motta Italian coffee distributor/leveler, metal tamper w/rubber holder, metal back flush baskets, a number of additional group-head screen screws
The issues right now: The machine will not turn on: the "on/standby" green light blinks but when I press to turn the machine on nothing happens. Also, it has started tripping the GFCI outlet. It seems like a not too complicated repair, but I don't know what (and I have zero mechanical or handy abilities).
It appears to be a minor issue: On one espresso forum a member who is an espresso machine service repair manager thought I might need to replace something called the rubber touch pad (a part that is around online). Another member thought it might be the power supply fuse (under ) - or it might be another part? If it is, parts for this machine are available online and are very reasonably priced.
You just have to know what you are doing - and I have no idea - and you would have a machine that sells for more than 00 and makes amazing espresso drinks.
