    Description

    THIS LISTING:
Important Antique Chinese Flambe Glazed Porcelain Hu Vase with Daoguang Mark
This listing is for a beautiful and finely potted Chinese porcelain vase dating to the 19th century. The vase is made in Hu form with lug handles accented the neck and a relief peach on each side. The exterior and interior of the neck is finished with a wonderful Flambe glaze displaying vibrant reds, violets, and blues. It has an incised Daoguang mark on the underside and probably dates of the period. Overall condition of the vase is very good. There is some scratches to the glaze around the exterior and some light spots of rubbing to the glaze around the top rim. Finally there are just some small typical flea bites to the glaze around the outside of the foot. We have included a photo of a similar Daoguang marked example that sold at auction.  11ao96.
