Hand Carved Ironwood WOLF STATUE Solid Wood Collectible 11 1/2” Tall WOLF Decor

This beautiful WOLF OR DOG  is part of my sons collection.  He got married 7 years ago and his wife doesn't like clutter...so he had to make the decision to let it go.  I know it has a broken ear but it is till a good piece.  Maybe you could give it a quick fix and either make another one to match or revise the one that is good to make it match.  I don't have those skills and to old to take on another project.
I would like to sell my house in order to travel one of these days.  I really need to find my many boxes of treasured items a good home.  I hope this HUGE wolf or dog statue will fit perfectly in yours.  My son has had this specific one since 1994.  My husband went to an estate sale and bought a few of these carved pieces to display in our huge farmhouse.  They were so pretty sitting on the built in shelves and later in my sons bedroom desk.
This statue is very heavy.  I have had people tell me it is made out of iron tree wood but im listing it as ironwood … which could be the same thing...I don't know.  I just loved it.  I didn't care what it was made from.  LOL …
It measures 11 1/2 inches tall x 5 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches thick.  The wood on it looks awesome with the dark wood grains then you have the reddish brown grains.  I would rub Old English Furniture Polish on it when I did my Spring house cleaning and it brought out the grains even more.  There are two issues with this piece.  First one is the chunk taken out of the ear and on the right side the wood has separated … which is normal as wood when it gets dry this is what happens.  It was in this condition when I packed it up 8 years ago to move into this house and put it in storage.
It is very heavy and postage will be a little bit higher...but it will be really worth it.
