- BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCALD YOUR HANDS; Invert the espresso maker so the spout is pointed into the cup and turn the piston counterclockwise to unlock it; Start pressing the semi-automatic piston to release the water from the tank into the main body and into the outlet spout, and then into your cup with your gourmet espresso coffee! Note: The first 8-10 pumps will be to introduce the water into the coffee capsule
