Framed Vintage Full Color Print MATER MEA Mother Mary Nealis 1933 Very Fine NICE

Description

It is a collectible vintage full color print from the painting of the well-known Saulte Ste Marie Canadian artist-nun, Mother Mary Nealis, enclosed in its original gilded & patinized wood frame, and all ready for wall mounting.
The print is entitled “MATER MEA” and is dated 1933, with the artist's signature in the lower right hand corner. The outside dimensions of the frame measure 10 ¼” wide by 14” high. The lovely molded wood gilded frame being 1 1/4“ wide, makes the glass covered interior opening 8 ½ wide by 12” high.
We opened the frame for cleaning & inspection, and found the print to be in Very Fine condition, and have re-assembled it, including paper dust sealant on the reverse, so it is all ready for hanging- a collectible and beautiful religious framed print.
