    Description

    FIJI ISLANDS - 1958 FLORIN - COLONIAL ERA - PREDECIMAL COIN. Copper/Nickel.
    QUEEN  ELIZABETH  THE  SECOND
    Clean with clear details on both sides, milled edge. Obverse design with Queen Elizabeth II facing right and legend around the edge. Reverse side design has the Fijian Coat of Arms Shield in the center, " FIJI " above the Shield, date separated by the Shield, "FLORIN" below the Shield. The Shield contains (5) sections, with the very top with the British Lion. The two sections in the center display the all-time trading commodities of Fiji Islands, including the "bananas" , located in the lower right corner and the "Peace Dove" in the left corner. This Florin is in Very Fine condition.
