    Description

Offered is a very large, empty liquor decanter in the shape of the Italian General Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807-1882) issued by McCormick Distillery in 1969 and 1970. The decanter shows the general credited with winning the fight to unify the various parts of Italy into one country, wearing the red shirt he and his soldiers used as a uniform. He also wears blue pants, a red hat and a navy blue scarf with a gold sword at his side. The decanter stands an impressive 18 and 1/2 inches tall, 7 and 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches front-to-back. McCormick Distillery was established in 1856 in Weston, Missouri and is still in business there. The bottle was designed by, made and hand painted by Cesare Bottles Beautiful. I didn't locate much about the company but it appears they made liquor bottles for a few companies but only in the 1969/70 time period.
Please visit my eBay store, The Antiques Nook, to see lots more items for sale. I often add new items and I offer a different group of
    discounted items every month
, so check my store regularly for both new and marked down items.
I'll be happy to combine multiple purchases into one package to try to save you on shipping costs. However, most of the shipping services added an extra fee for any package bigger than 12x12x12 inches, so it's often more cost effective to keep the items in separate boxes to avoid the oversized box fee. I'll try to check it both ways and give you the best price. If an oversized box is needed for any package, FedEx is often the most cost-effective way to send it and I'll use them instead if that's the case. Please use the eBay shipping calculator to determine the cost of shipping. If you would like a package shipped by a method not shown OR can't use a specific service, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
Please examine the pictures carefully as they are part of the item description. All prices are in U.S. dollars. I use environmentally friendly Eco-nuts in packing.
