This listing is for one of the finest painted Chinese Rose Mandarin punch bowls we have ever seen. The detail throughout is truly exceptional with the incredible detail in each of the figures robes to the beautiful gilt dragon borders around every reserve. It is massive in size measuring just about 21" across in diameter. Its hard to overstate how beautiful this piece of early 19th century Chinese porcelain is. It displays wonderfully. There is a line that extends down the side and extends across the bottom which has been professionally restored and hard to notice. Also there is one section on one side which has been professionally restored. When you tap the bowl it still rings and the repair work was of the highest quality. Just a magnificent example of 19th century Rose Mandarin porcelain. 11ao71
