The tonearm is held in place by 2 left and right pins (pic 7, 8). When receive it, the tonearm got disengaged from vibration in transit. I simply align one pin with the hole in the tonearm, gave it a little twist and the other side snapped in. I will package the item very carefully, however the tonearm may get disengaged. If that happens, it is not difficult to put it back in place.
The amplifier looks compete, however it was not tested.
The instruction booklet looks original to me. Here is part of the text, which is also in the last picture.
"The Bristophone is small and compact. It is made of brass, gold satin finished and lacquered, and has genuine Bakelite base and trimming. It fits nearly into the top of your phonograph and does not interfere with closing down the lid. The price is ".
