This 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the "Roman Empire"series featuring Brutus, a replication of the famous denarius minted in memoryof Caesar's assassination. The coin has an Antique Finish quality, has abeautiful Ultra High Relief and comes with the original Description card thatit was shipped with. Limited mintage of 500 pcs worldwide. The reverse of thecoin features a helmet in the center, with two daggers on either side andaround a classical Roman motif. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "EIDMAR" - which means 'Ides of March' in Latin and "MMXXI" - theyear of issue. The obverse of the coin depicts one of the most importantmonuments of Rome, the Colosseum with always around the Roman motif. At thebottom, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with all around, theinscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen, "COOKISLANDS" - the country of issue and "5 DOLLARS" - the facevalue, at the top the inscription: "ROMAN EMPIRE" - the name of theseries.
Et tu, Brute? We don’t know if Julius Caesarreally said that to his supposed ally Brutus as he was being murdered, but itmakes for a pretty gruesome (and notorious) story. This coin was minted in memory of Caesar’s assassination on the “Ides ofMarch” in 44 BC.  Face Value : 5 Dollars
