"Bread of Angels
"
Print Based on Vintage Holy Card
This angel is reverently carrying the Eucharist down from Heaven during the Mass. The inscription on this French holy card was from the divine office of the day. In English it reads, “Angel of God who carry our prayers to the tabernacle, send down on us all the graces of the Eucharist.”
Angels are involved with the Eucharist, bringing down this Bread of Angels from Heaven. In the interchange between Earth and Heaven during the Mass, they can carry our prayers up to Heaven.
This was printed by the Gérard - Desgodets Company in Paris who were active in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.
– 8.5 x 1
1" acid-free paper
– Archival pigments (rated to last for generations without fading if kept out of the sun)
– Cardboard backer
– Story of the card
– Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
** IMPORTANT ** There is about an inch-and-a-third of white space around the picture, so the image is smaller than the paper.
