    Our Lady of Guadalupe is universally revered throughout Latin America, and December 12, her feast day,  is an occasion for thousands of  town fairs. Sometimes little boys are dressed in special costumes to evoke Juan Diego, the Indian child who, according to tradition, witnessed her apparition. Tis painting by Sylvia Castellanos catches the tradition and color associated with Guadalupe celebrations.
