VICTOR MS  PHONOGRAPH
A fine example, one of Victor's most ornate outside horn phonographs, costing .00 when new in 1904, about half a year's wages for the average workingman.
The solid oak cabinet measures 14.5" x 14", with corner pillars and extensive, ornate trim.
The 3-spring motor, typical of MS motors, emanates a bit of governor/gear noise, completely unheard when a record is playing. The tapered tone arm is fitted with an Exhibition reproducer.  The turntable is 10" diameter.
The motor has been professionally cleaned and serviced, and the reproducer rebuilt.
The original
"spear-tip" Victor horn, is without damages, repairs, splits, etc. It bears the original end cap with patent stamp and original decal on the horn.
