Antique Religious 3 Panel Screen Gilded Triptych Icon Gold

Beautiful antique religious icon triptych.   Three panels that fold.  Depicts 2 angels/saints with Halos...Adam
and Eve.  He is reading from the Book...and she is listening with great inspiration.   They are dressed
in short tunics with leg wraps and sandals.   Because this painted material is transparent, a light could be
set in back and it would cast a magnificent glow and spiritual feeling as it shines through.
It is shaped from metal into 3 Cathedrals and is tri-fold.  Heavy gilding and rope trim embellishments.
Glass-like material  is stained and painted with lovely figures of Angels or Saints.
It has age.   I believe it was probably hand made in Italy..no markings that I can see.   There are a few
scratches but does not take away from its beauty.    Measures  16" x 22 1/2".
