1800s Antique Virgin Mary Mater Dolorosa Rare Barn Find!.
This is an amazing original Antique Oil Panting late 1800s. Our Lady of Sorrows . Mater Dolorosa. Came from a barn or storage site on the east coast. The frame is original and looks to be hand fitted . Painting depicts our Mother in thought with tears coming from her eye.
Framed size is 14 inches tall by 12 wide . Oil on canvas. No rips , tears or in painting visible. The frame has two cracks or separations possibly where it was jointed originally. See photos.
