Antique Jesus Christ Crucifixion Chromo-litho print framed c 1870

You are looking at a wonderfully done and very dramatic 19th century chromo-litho print of the death of Christ on Mount Gogothra--with the temple of Jerusalem in the background...dark brooding Holy Friday Skies--the mournful aura that was seen at this time.
A wonderful walnut 19th century frame with wooden boards backing  and a nice gold gilding inner frame--all could stand cleaning but pretty much hang it on the wall when you receive condition. This piece is quite different than many I have seen over the years but can't quite put my finger on why that is so?
Oh--I almost forgot to mention the size--approximately 20 x 24 inches and weights about 9 pounds--maybe 10 for shipping...a nice quality piece.
