The Keller firm was founded in 1856 by Gustave Keller, Established in Paris at 65 rue de Turbigo,
Gustave Keller moved his shop and workshop to 22 rue Joubert in 1891.
Case is constructed out of word with custom 19th century French Brass Fittings (Hardware) lined in leather.
Interior is Satin on Top & cushioned to protect jewels. Bottom is velvet to showcase jewels. Top had sterling silver marquee attached. Signed on the bottom Gustave Keller. Lock is working with two original keys included.
Provenance Christies East New York 1960's
Condition; Good for 160 years old, having had some minor restoration over the years. In good working order but not for travels or extensive daily use. There A; one stain in interior top lower left B; some separation to the wood at seams C: Some surfer rubbing with worst being scratch on bottom These with can be seen in last 3 close up pictures which are intended to disclose the scope of damages.

This was hard to price as it's rare example of Keller Firm's earlier work.
It's certainly higher quality than a Hermes, Cartier or Faberge box but again not easy to suggest price.
