Gorgeous layered doily Valentine's Day card from the late 1800's.
To underscore the period of this piece, the poem is titled,
"Irrevocably Thine."
The doily frame rests against an embossed, die-cut background, illustrated with gold ink overlay. The frame can be carefully extended to create a 3D effect, spotlighting the doily layering. Inside is a decorated love poem as well as additional illustrations.
Overall, this card is in good condition considering the age. See photos to know what to expect. This is a beautiful card and a wonderful example of Victorian design.
