From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this
ANTIQUE 1918 VICTORIAN DIE CUT EASEL-BACK VALENTINE: I'm The Guy That Put U In LUV. Measuring
about 7 1/4” tall, this is in excellent antique condition with no creases, tears or writing beside “1918” which was very lightly written in pencil on the back. As shown, there is a black cat intertwined in the young man's legs and the cardboard easel stand was never bent out to be used.
There is a tiny hole in the back of the card which leads me to believe this originally had a movable piece in the front although it certainly doesn't look like it's missing anything. I've recently purchased a large selection of what I believe are New Old Stock c1900 Valentines, most of which are in mint or near-mint condition and many of which are some combination of die cut,embossed and/or have easel backs so they stand up.
