Can be used like a steel burnisher for smoothing metals and closing bezels but unlike steel burnishers they will not damage stones.

in search of the American dream.  At sixteen years of age, and with few skills, Donato landed a job in the tool and die industry.  He became a skilled craftsman making quality files and
engraving tools for the jewelry industry.  In 1937, along with two partners,
Donato founded the U.J. Ramelson Company.  UJ. Ramelson quickly established themselves as the leader in
quality American handmade tools.  The family tradition of excellence continues
with third generation owners John and Dan Ramella.
Blending age old traditions with advanced technologies,
our tools are made of the finest carbon tool steel.  They are hand forged, heat treated, and tempered by our expert craftsmen.
