    Description

    Black Rubber Feet - 3/4" Diameter - 3/8" Tall
with 3/8" Nail for Cabinet Mounting
Set of FOUR (4) Rubber Feet
Suitable for Most Disc and Cylinder Phonographs
(See my other listings for smaller feet)
This set of FOUR (4) black rubber feet is suitable for most old phonographs including disc and cylinder players. Use these feet to replace the old ones on your phonograph that have dried out or have fallen off. Many machines only have the old nail heads with no rubber at all! These types of feet were used on most table model Talking Machines and Victrolas made by The Victor Talking Machine Company. Many other companies of the day also used the same type. If you are in doubt about what you need feel free to contact me and I will help you.
Installation of this set of four (4) feet is very easy and requires only a small hammer. Sometimes they can be firmly pressed into place without a hammer. To install them you simply pull out the remnants of the old feet including the nail, then insert the nail of the new foot in the hole, and finally, lightly tap each into place. I strongly recommend that you try to use the existing nail holes to mount these so that you avoid any unnecessary stress on your cabinet. Sometimes the old nails are broken off and can't be easily removed. In cases like that I recommend using a thin awl or small drill to make a small hole immediately alongside the original nail. Old cabinets tend to have very dry wood and the joints are often more fragile now then they were back in the day, so every cautious step that you can take to avoid damage today, is a step taken to preserve your old phonograph for another hundred years. Somebody will thank you even if you aren't around to hear their praise!
Applications: Victor Talking Machine, Edison, Columbia, Victrola, HMV, Columbia, Brunswick, Silvertone, Busy Bee, Aretino and most other table top phonographs and cabinets.
