Description

This is a
repair package
that fits the sliding door motor of 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 odyssey. The package fits, and would repair
a set of one long, and one short cable (one sliding door) either on the driver, or passenger side.
On payment, customer would be sent the package, a quick repair guide, and detailed repair video clips as a guide through the repair process.

1 x Galvanized Steel Cable (Long)
1 x Galvanized Steel Cable (Short)
2 x Cable End (Big)
2 x Cable End (Small)
1 x Lead-Free Rosin Core Solder
1 x Rosin Soldering Paste Flux
1 x Quick Repair Guide
1 x Cable Piece and Cable End for test soldering (if needed)
Other Items That May Be Required, But Not Included:
Soldering iron, a filing tool, pipe wrench, or any clamping tool, a pair of tweezers, blade for scraping, a star screwdriver, a pair of pliers, basic soldering skills.
The cables mentioned above are brand new,
49 strand galvanized steel cable, with a breaking strength rated at 280
lbs
;
and the cable ends are brand new,
made of brass.
These ends are best attached to the cables by soldering. When done correctly, soldering joins the ends to the cables both chemically, and structurally. The joints are permanently sealed from moisture, and will not pull out from each other as the door is operated.
A black and white printed quick repair guide is enclosed in the package,
in case
customer does not have immediate access to digital media. This material covers the repair process.
