    I recognize gentlemen of this era had long hair but this looks like two ladies to me.  The details are captivating and the lid is silver and the rim and bottom of the box is in gold metal BRASS? I scoured this trinket looking for a hallmark....I faintly see something in the bottom at around 11 oclock.  BUT Seriously I don't see any markings telling me which country of origin or silver content.
    Got this at a sale where she collected PILL and SNUFF boxes.  I grabbed three before someone requested to "BUY THEM ALL".
