Up for your consideration is a vintage 1956 RCA Victor 45 RPM records cardboard shipping container. The box is 7 3/4" square and 3" deep. Looks like it was shipped from The RCA Victor Record Div. located at
1145 E. 22nd Street
Indianapolis

Ind.
This box was shipped to RCA Victor Dist. Corp. located on Fairfax & Funston Rds. Kansas City, Kansas. There is a date stamp of February 15th 1956. I found information on the discogs.com website.

For being over 60 years old this box is in wonderful structural condition. Does have two places where the previous teenage owner’s name had been penned in ink and two places where "RECORDS" had been printed in black crayon. This is a very rare survivor from bygone times. More research may discover the identity of the 50’s recording star whose singles were shipped in it. Sold AS-IS because of its age and will be shipped to you inside of another container.
