  • Condition: Original paInt, Lower left corner has small areas of rust through on edge and several small spots of rust through on the lower right but otherwise is solid metal. Rust-colored due to being buried around the state capital building.

    Description

    1915 OKLAHOMA PASSENGER LICENSE PLATE (31620) When the state no longer needed the left over plates, they disposed of them by dumping them in holes around the capital building which was under construction at that time.  This appears like other plates that were dug up years later.  This has been in a private collection for several decades and this collector has passed away so no other information is available regarding the history of this plate.
