This piece is in excellent condition.  The only imperfection that the jeweler and i could find is that the
**inside of the hinged lid is slightly bent as evidenced in the pictures. ir still opens and closes as it should

This piece is from the 1800s and was hand done its gorgeous solid and has a feel and look to it thats really magical.

This is a rare one of a kind box. The artist simply didnt make many of these because they are time consuming and handmade  and many he made are in museums worldwide
